Vishal Chawla is RiseBoro’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining RiseBoro, Vishal was the CFO of The Georgetown Company, a privately-held real estate investment and development company based in New York City.  Vishal joined Georgetown after 23 years at Ernst & Young, where he was a partner in the Real Estate Transaction advisory services practice. He brings extensive experience including serving as a trusted advisor to private equity and publicly traded REITs and hospitality companies on achieving growth and strategically executing on transactions.

Vishal holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University and has completed graduate coursework in affordable housing and real estate valuation at NYU. He is a CPA in the state of New York. Vishal is an active member of real estate industry organizations, serving as Chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Development and Mixed-Use Council (Purple Flight).
